  • The Parent Information Center in New Hampshire also provides families of children with disabilities with information and support to navigate the educational and healthcare systems. In some circumstances they can provide free or low-cost advocacy.

  • The Maine Parent Federation provides support to families in all steps of the process related to disabilities, including diagnosis, legal support and transition planning.

  • One Sky is the agency that serves the Seacoast Region.

  • Community Partners is the area agency for the Dover & Rochester region of New Hampshire.

  • Families First offers parenting support and low-cost health care for families.

  • Dartmouth Hitchcock offers an interdisciplinary team specializing in child development.

  • New Hampshire Family Voices is an organization that assists parents and families in navigating the education and healthcare systems and provides technical assistance to access healthcare resources.

  • The New Hampshire Procedural Safeguards handbook is a resource for parents and professionals about your child’s rights in the special education process.

  • This foundation provides grants to families of children with disabilities to cover costs related to items or activities needed for their participation in the community.
