LilyPad Learning Center
Our learning center, located in Barrington, NH, is an inclusive environment designed to support both our applied behavior analysis clients and other preschool-aged children from the community.
Philosophy & Approach
We believe that children have the right to access high quality, play-centered & child-focused care. Our practices focus on building emotional resilience, intrinsic motivation to learn, ongoing curiosity about the world & a strong sense of community.
We believe all children can learn in community with their peers with support from others and the built environment. We emphasize the development of cooperation, self-advocacy and a lifelong love of learning. One of the best ways we can create strong, caring communities is by modeling and encouraging deep respect and curiosity for the way children learn. We are here to celebrate successes and support learning, even when times are tough.
Curriculum & Standards
LilyPad uses a free open source preschool curriculum developed by the State of Maine in collaboration with Boston Public Schools, Pre-K for ME. Our assessment and curriculum are aligned with the New Hampshire Early Learning Standards as well.
We also utilize portions of the The Preschool Life Skills curriculum. This is a program based in the principles of applied behavior analysis, designed to help teach important skills to young children and help prevent the development of concerning behaviors. The curriculum emphasizes instruction following, functional communication, tolerance & friendship skills. Our team of behavior analysts works closely with our educational team to ensure that objectives and teaching strategies are in line with LilyPad’s values and that all children receive individualized support and feedback for these important developmental skills.
Enrollment & Tuition
The Learning Center enrolls preschool-aged (3- 5 years) for full day (8AM-3PM), partial day (AM or PM), full week (M-F) or partial week. Please send an email to info@lilypadclinical.com for more information about enrollment, current availability & tuition rates.
